SERVICES
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is an ancient medicine that focuses on balancing the body and its energy (Qi) flow. When the body’s natural energy becomes disrupted, illness, injury, or pain can occur.
Acupuncture is performed by using special needles inserted into specific points along our energy channels (meridians). When the point is activated, numerous cells are stimulated which help to heal the body.
Acupuncture can be used to treat a large number of health conditions, including ligament injury, organ disease, arthritis, back injury, neurologic conditions, and digestive issues.
CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Animal Chiropractic is a manual method of treatment that focuses on maintaining a healthy neuromusculoskeletal system. The body functions at its highest potential when the brain and the nervous system can communicate with the rest of the body. The goal of chiropractic treatment is to optimize mobility and nervous system function, allowing unrestricted communication between the brain and the rest of the body.
CHINESE HERBALS
Chinese herbal remedies are ancient formulations that help the body to heal. Herbs correct underlying imbalances in the body that cause disease therefore helping to promote healing and reduce pain.
Chinese herbs can be used to treat acute and chronic conditions, including cancer.
Integrative Pet Care prescribes herbal remedies from Jing Tang Herbal. Jing Tang Herbal products are manufactured following strict standards and are sold exclusively to licensed veterinarians for the safest care of animals.
FOOD THERAPY
Food therapy utilizes the knowledge of food ingredients to treat imbalances within the body. Integrative Pet Care offers guidance on your pet’s current diet and can direct your pet’s diet to help with their specific health issues.

DR. MILES
Dr. Kristal (Kristy) Miles grew up surrounded by animals in California. As a child, she competed in 4-H showing her dog and her herd of pygmy goats. On the ranch at home, her family had horses, chickens, goats, geese, fish, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Dr. Miles completed her undergraduate education at University of California, San Diego. She moved to Massachusetts to attend Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2010. She completed a small animal internship in California prior to moving back to Massachusetts. While in Massachusetts, she worked in small animal general practice and started to explore integrative veterinary medicine. Dr. Miles became certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 2016. She then completed her certifications for veterinary acupuncture, food therapy, and veterinary rehabilitation (physical therapy). She moved to Colorado in 2019. She worked in general practice in Littleton integrating acupuncture and chiropractic with general veterinary care. In 2024, she completed her Chinese Herbal Certification. Dr. Miles shares her home with one pug named Egor and two French Bulldogs named Ella and Tyson. In addition, she has several freshwater aquariums.
